Mechanical Technician- Project Work at 3-Mile Island

About the role Mechanical Technician - Contract approximately 3 months (July 27th - October 15th) Candidate will train at the Manning location prior to site. Candidate will report on site to the Three-Mile Island Nuclear Plant for a special project. Will report to the site supervisor of the project. Work Monday - Thursday 44 hours a week. Per Diem for those living 50 miles from site will be 7 days a week. Key Responsibilities Drill plugs in containment. Qualifications Nuclear work experience 3+ years 6 months of mechanical work or education Mechanical knowledge and ability Long handle tool, underwater cutting experience 1 month Decon tech experience 3 months Rigging background Respirator fit required Pass nuclear background and drug screen Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities Base salary range is $40/hour to $42/hour.
