Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

Overview

A highly respected Top 200 CPA firm is seeking a M&A Senior Associate to join its national team. This fully remote role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Financial Due Diligence who are passionate about supporting M&A transactions. This position is not tax-focused , and candidates with experience in buy-side or sell-side due diligence are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients
• Analyze historical and projected financial data to identify key deal drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including valuation, audit, and consulting
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development efforts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, or related M&A roles
• CPA preferred (but not required)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with private equity clients is a plus

Compensation

• Base Salary: Up to $125,000
• Performance-based incentives available
