Physical Therapist (Cardiopulmonary) Healthworks Cardiac Rehab

Position Information The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and exercise/activity programs, constructing appropriate orthotic devices and educating in use of adaptive equipment. The role is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying the treatment plan accordingly, and provides age‑specific direct patient care according to the unit's scope of service. The primary setting is the Raleigh Campus Outpatient Rehab and may require coverage of other areas of the WakeMed Rehab Continuum as needed. Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues, as well as post‑surgical orthopedics, multi‑trauma and debility for both adults and pediatric populations.
