Shift-2p-10p 6 days a week with one scheduled day off.
Must be aware of all PPE requirements and pass background testing and drug screening.
In this position you will be responsible for the operation of equipment and machinery in Line 9 Coat 1 and Coat 2 areas as well as other areas of responsibility. Position operator is responsible for staging, preparing, splicing, and running rolls of various paper/plastic materials and sizes for application to foam products running on Line 9 along with adhesives.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure safe work practices and adherence to established safety procedures including proper use of hoists, preparation/ handling of rolls, stringing of the line etc.
Analyze and verify quality of work/ materials.
Utilizing OCS panel.
Understanding and proper operation of Marquip.
Perform proper operation of blender/hoppers and understand recipe panels.
Perform regular job functions (Setting accurate Die gaps, purging adhesive, changing screens, operating air rolls, the hoist, the unwind, etc.)
Accurately complete all production documentation.
Analyze schedules, prepare and pre-stage upcoming job materials (Rolls, Adhesive).
Support and maintain a clean and organized work center, supporting, maintaining and improve 5S in all areas.
Accountable for department output and efficiencies in area of responsibility.
Maintain a harmonious manufacturing/work environment.
Maintain communication with production managers, production leads, Line 9 Operators, and fellow associates to maximize quality and output.
Suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas.
Perform some basic equipment maintenance and inspections.
Assist in coordination efforts with area support personnel to correct equipment/process problems in a timely manner to minimize down time maximize efficiency and yield.
Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma/GED
Proficiency in High school math skills
Language Skills
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
Ability to read/write work instructions, specifications
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills (ability to use scanning and basic data entry)
Work Environment
Fast-paced work environment
Standing/on feet for long lengths of time
Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40lbs
Subjected to both hot and cold temperatures
Work Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the United States
