Order Entry Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry & Coordination Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering customer orders accurately, coordinating with internal departments, monitoring order status, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Enter and process customer orders accurately into the company's order management system. Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, and product availability. Coordinate with sales, warehouse, shipping, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues or delays. Communicate with customers regarding order confirmations, shipment updates, and inquiries. Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation. Process order changes, cancellations, returns, and exchanges as needed. Assist with inventory checks and backorder management. Prepare reports related to order processing and customer requests. Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 13 years of experience in order processing, customer service, data entry, or administrative support. Strong typing and data entry accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Salesforce) is a plus. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong attention to detail and time management. Preferred Skills Customer-focused mindset.
