Position Summary We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in our Park Ridge, NJ office location. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm. Responsibilities Directing Tax Seniors, Semi Seniors, and Associates and staff accountants Ensuring that assignments are accomplished within the budgeted time Interacting with clients to discuss issues with regard to tax information throughout the year Developing technical knowledge through participation in organization meetings, training programs, attending industry events and participation in research activities Identifying any risk management issues and proposes potential solutions through various research and collaboration Conducting research and drawing conclusions in order to face target issues Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred 5+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience CPA license is required Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Tax software, ProSystems and CCH Must be technically proficient in corporate, international, federal and state and local tax, as well as have a solid background in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, C Corps, partnerships and individual/trusts Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects Ability to work additional hours as needed Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Maintains a high level of professionalism and consistently demonstrates respect for others Benefits Competitive base compensation with eligibility for a raise and bonus each June or December based on performance metrics and level. CPA Incentive: Financial assistance toward the achievement of the CPA certification which includes the cost of the CPA study materials, CPA exam registration and sitting fees for all 4 parts (up to 2 × per part), plus the CPA application and licensing fees. Paid study time during work hours, additional paid time off to take your scheduled exam and a bonus paid upon passing the CPA exam. Compensation for this role is determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to your relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Salary ranges for New Jersey: $110,000 – $160,000.
