Assistant Childcare Teacher

Chroma Early Learning Academy is hiring an Assistant Childcare Teacher in Canton, GA Duties Assist the Lead Teacher in the day-to-day care of the children in the classroom. Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards. Support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development. Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families. Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation. Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance. Requirements High school diploma or GED Required Must be 18 years of age Ability to Pass a Background Check Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire). Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia2 from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines. Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children. Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning. Nice To Haves Teaching/Childcare 1 Year (Preferred) In progress, or willingness to obtain CDA, TCC, or paraprofessional.
