EMT or Paramedic (PRN)

Medcor is looking for an EMT or Paramedic to work as an Onsite Health Technician on a PRN (as‑needed) basis at our construction site clinic in Glenn Falls, NY. The position requires evenings and weekends as needed. Responsibilities Collaborate with Medcor medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Provide patient care and ongoing workers’ compensation case management. Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) program and monitor treatment plans. Document care in EMR and maintain OSHA records. Participate in daily operations at the on‑site clinic. Provide superior customer service to Medcor client and employees. Conduct assessments and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs). Perform pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Assist with physical assessment testing (PATs) and case management. Qualifications Valid licensure for the EMT or Paramedic position applied for. Current CPR/BLS certification. Physical ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, outgoing personality. Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care. Passion for people and delivering the best possible care. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable working in a construction environment. Familiarity with EMR software. Experience in emergency medicine or critical care. Since this is an as‑needed position there are no guaranteed hours.
