Mechanical Supervisor

PCI Pharma Services seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical personnel and equipment operations at a pharmaceutical packaging facility in Philadelphia. The role involves staff management, equipment maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, and production support on a Thursday-Saturday overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train all mechanical personnel on job assignments and priorities
• Coordinate equipment setups, repairs, and preventive maintenance to meet production schedules
• Manage workforce scheduling, overtime allocation, and adherence to union guidelines
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOP, FDA, DEA, and OSHA regulations
• Maintain spare parts inventory and handle daily payroll and work hour documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years trade or technical training in mechanics, electrical, pneumatics, or PLC
• 10 years pharmaceutical packaging industry experience
• Advanced computer skills and professional-level written and verbal communication
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of GMP, cGMP, and safety regulations
