The nurse practitioner will provide cardiothoracic surgery support across inpatient units, operating rooms, and emergency departments on an on-site basis. Primary responsibilities include first-assisting on cardiac surgery cases, performing endoscopic vein harvesting with Terumo and Hemopro systems, and conducting radial artery harvesting procedures. Coverage is structured across day and night shifts with call responsibilities on a 1:6 call schedule. The clinician will manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care across all three settings. Treatment plans for cardiac and thoracic surgical patients are to be coordinated in collaboration with surgical teams and nursing staff.
