What You'll Do
• Perform expert venipunctures, capillary punctures, and other blood collection procedures with precision, safety, and minimal discomfort.
• Verify patient identity using two or more identifiers and clearly explain procedures to ease anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Collect specimens following strict protocols to ensure integrity, while watching for any adverse reactions and responding promptly.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered care in fast-paced hospital and clinical settings across the Houston area.
• Job Requirements

What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ Years Experience
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program or equivalent hands-on clinical experience.
• Current national phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP PBT, NHA CPT, or equivalent) strongly preferred (and required by some clients).
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology, relevant anatomy/physiology, lab procedures, and infection control standards.
• Proficiency with lab information systems, basic computer skills, and electronic documentation.
• The ability to travel between locations.
• Open to temporary and/or temp to permanent positions.
