Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle various payment methods. Accurately and efficiently execute point‑of‑sale and customer‑service standards based on company guidelines, ensuring courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty). Support inventory accuracy through completion of required point‑of‑sale and merchandise disposition practices. Assist in training new hires on the service team, teaching best practices, proper point‑of‑sale procedures, and using available tools while meeting Kohl’s brand standards. Participate in daily service processes, such as register and cash balancing, change orders, and replenishing supplies. Act with integrity, honesty, and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture. Exercise good judgment and discernment when making decisions; enlist appropriate partners as needed. Demonstrate a customer‑service mindset, anticipate customer needs, and satisfactorily resolve issues. Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes. Follow company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Maintain adherence to safety policies for the safety of all associates and customers. Accept direction from supervisors, managers, and other company personnel and respond proactively. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to multi‑task with strong attention to detail. Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. No retail experience required. Must be 16 years of age or older. Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Required weekend availability. Preferred Client‑facing retail or service industry experience.
