Quick Facts Location: 402 East 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805 Start Date: 07/17/2026 End Date/Duration: 08/31/2026 + potential future dates Shift: Primarily scheduled 8-hour weekday procedures, plus weeknight call; 24-hour weekend/holiday call rate Hours/Week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Minnesota medical license, board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and GI Experience: Previous GI inpatient/outpatient experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay: $1.00 per hour (rate adjusted as per client’s needs) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, travel, and certifications Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You’ll Do Provide advanced GI procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy Manage inpatient and outpatient care, including hospital-based services and procedures Cover 24-hour call schedule on weekends and holidays Support hospital service teams with inpatient GI consults and procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Follow departmental protocols to ensure safety and compliance What You Need Active Minnesota medical license or eligibility Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Experience with advanced GI procedures (preferred but open to candidates without EUS) Strong procedural skills and excellent communication abilities About the Assignment This position is for advanced GI coverage at a leading facility in Duluth, Minnesota, focusing on inpatient hospital services and procedures. The initial request covers a period from mid-August to the end of August, with options for additional dates for vacation coverage or future assignments. The role involves both scheduled procedures and 24-hour call responsibilities, contributing to critical inpatient and outpatient care.
