Service Technician

Description Pacific Distributing Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot agricultural tree shakers. This role is critical to keeping orchard operations running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in the field. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on tree shakers. Repair and replace damaged parts, motors, and electrical components. Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on tree shakers. Communicate with orchard owners and management regarding repair and maintenance needs. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Mechanically inclined with great problem‑solving skills. Works well independently and with others. Good communication skills. Organized with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced and stressful environment. Must be able to communicate in English. Education and Experience: Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking. Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery. Must be able to visually inspect machines. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to tolerate working in various weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, wind, rain, and snow.
