Job Summary and Qualifications The MRI Technologist runs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, performing a variety of imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them. Qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (ARRT‑MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date. (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree No Travel Required.
