Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for journal entries and accruals.
- Automate and streamline accounting processes.
- Oversee business unit balance sheet, prepare monthly reviews, and reconciliations.
- Full charge bookkeeping including A/R and A/P activities.
- Assist with month-end close and prepare journal entries for review.
- Perform GL and account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and post monthly accrual journal entries.
- Coordinate across multiple departments and prepare financial reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- GL Accounting Experience, Journal Entries, and Reconciliation skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Highly self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
Preferences
- Experience with Oracle and SAP applications.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in process improvement activities.
- Team player successful in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
