Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist provides patient rehabilitation services to improve mobility, strength, and functional ability within an outpatient or rehabilitation setting. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and supervising support staff to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop customized therapy plans.
  
  
• 
  Implement and adjust treatment programs to aid patient recovery and improve mobility.
  
  
• 
  Supervise PT Assistants and Aides, ensuring adherence to care protocols.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records, including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members to coordinate care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and billing policies, including accurate coding with ICD-10 and DX.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess a degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate or Masters level).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EMR systems, documentation, and billing procedures.
  
  
• 
  Be able to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers and mobility.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current certifications and complete continuing education as required.
