Technician I - Preventative Maintenance

Performs and provides guidance in the implementation of the district's preventative maintenance program. Responsible for carrying out all assigned duties to ensure that all City Schools facilities are kept in a condition of operating excellence. Essential Functions Cleans and performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on unit ventilators, and air handling units. Assists Stationary Engineer(s) with maintenance and operations of building equipment. Performs upkeep of boilers and mechanical rooms. Maintains simple record of daily operations. Maximum Salary 29.96 Minimum Salary 20.84 Desired Qualifications Completion of sixth grade or higher. High School diploma preferred. Ability to maintain records. Ability to read and write.
