Job Title: Video Editor Location: San Diego, California, United States Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $25 - $35 USD per hour Responsibilities Edit raw video footage into polished, compelling content for websites, social media channels, and other marketing materials. Collaborate with our creative and marketing teams to understand project briefs and deliver content that aligns with strategic goals. Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, music, and sound effects to enhance video content. Ensure all video output adheres to client brand guidelines and maintains the high-quality standards of our agency. Manage post-production workflows, including colour grading, sound mixing, and final rendering. Organise and maintain a digital library of video assets for efficient project management. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in video editing software and techniques. Qualifications Demonstrable experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio of previous work. Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Solid experience with motion graphics software, particularly Adobe After Effects. A strong understanding of narrative, pacing, and visual storytelling. Excellent knowledge of colour grading, sound design, and video compression standards for various platforms. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
