Job Description
REGISTERED NURSE - NURSING

Schedule
Nights: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
Must be willing to float to units where experienced.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- 3+ years of current experience (must be within the last 6 months)
- IV certified (must be willing to obtain during onboarding if not certified)
- COVID Vaccination Required (Declinations/Exemptions not accepted)
- Active license and certifications at time of submission
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted

Roles & Responsibilities
- Observe residents continuously, noting changes in mental and physical health; report significant observations to the Supervisor.
- Receive and communicate detailed reports on residents' status during shift changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, documenting accurately.
- Supervise and manage the nursing care provided by licensed nursing assistants (LNAs) and assist where necessary.
- Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers while completing necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding resident care and treatment updates.

Compliance / Notes
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial presentation and cannot exceed 5 days (Holidays not approved).
- Background checks and drug screens are part of the hiring process.
