Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis - Strategic Tech FinanceProvide financial support for the FP&A Tech Strategy Finance team, including development of methodologies and processes that provide transparency to financial results, analyzing current financial results to identify and address evolving business issues and opportunities, and supporting Capital One's Tech function as they plan for new initiatives.Role requires strong communication, problem solving, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and strong influencing skills in order to effectively:Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insightsPartner with business leadership to assess the financial implications of various initiatives.Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiencesGeneral Responsibilities:Financial analysis & reporting: Accurately analyze & explain key drivers and manage the regular reporting processBudgeting, forecasting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) managementExecutive business presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences; clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teamsAd-hoc requests on acquisition related topicsIndependently manage, prioritize, and delegate tasksAct as project lead for certain responsibilities on the teamBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 2 years of experience in financial analysisAt least 2 years of experience with financial modelingAt least 1 year of experience supporting a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functionPreferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in financial analysis3+ years of experience with financial modeling2+ years of experience supporting a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function2+ years of "Big 4" consulting experienceAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Financial AnalystNew York, NY: $105,300 - $120,100 for Sr. Financial AnalystRichmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Financial AnalystCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
