Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Availability: 2pm – 10pm. Pre-employment check required for final candidates. Domestic relocation support is provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a large, diverse team to deliver safe, efficient, and accurate goods flow across the DC and CDC operations.
• Embed a safety culture into all aspects of the goods flow operation.
• Develop and mentor team leaders, coordinators, and co-workers; actively plan succession to create a strong leadership pipeline.
• Ensure staff and equipment planning supports goods availability requirements and compliance with IKEA rules, guidelines, SOPs, and relevant laws.
• Engage with stakeholders across functions to support business growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large teams within a warehousing, logistics or fulfilment environment.
• Strong safety-first mindset with a track record of embedding safe practices into culture.
• Exceptional people leadership with the ability to coach, inspire, challenge, and develop a high-performing team.
• Experience leading from the front while contributing to strategic planning for smooth, well-planned operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure, take ownership of quick decisions, and solve problems effectively.
• Resilience, adaptability and a strong sense of accountability.
