Houseperson Job Description POSITION PROPERTY DEPARTMENT REPORTS TO Houseperson Downtowner Boutique Hotel Downtowner BOH General Manager and Lead Housekeeper JOB OVERVIEW The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of common areas throughout the property. This role supports the housekeeping team and helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Cleaning Duties  Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms. Supplies Management  Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. Trash Disposal  Collect and dispose of trash from common areas and ensure proper recycling procedures are followed. Guest Assistance  Provide assistance to guests by answering questions and directing them as needed. Safety Compliance  Follow safety and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment. Team Collaboration  Work closely with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to support efficient operations. Miscellaneous  Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
