Job Description:


Electrical Assembler II. This position requires consistent, in-person collaboration and will be performed full-time onsite at a BAE Systems facility. Work on advanced electronics supporting aerospace and defense programs.


Must Haves:

• High School or Trade School education.
• Two (2) years of High School or Trade School education.

Preferred:

• Assemble parts for electromechanical equipment.
• Hand soldering, connector installation, and epoxy application experience to IPC Class 3 standards (required).
• Selective solder and high-volume wave soldering experience.
• Experience with AOI and AXI (X-Ray) inspection to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, process plans, and drawings.
• Production accuracy and quality driven.
• Experience working in a clean room environment.
• Assemble, disassemble, and modify production subassemblies following work plans.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure conformance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD certifications desirable.
• Utilize fixturing to accurately build assemblies.
• Inspect parts and materials for flaws and imperfections prior to use.
• Manually solder or epoxy electrical components.
• Use solder reflow ovens, semi-automatic pick-and-place (P&P) machines, and automated measurement systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including MRP and data collection software.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
• Selective solder experience is a plus.

Education / Experience:

• Requires two (2) years of High School or Trade School education.
