The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and ensuring patient safety during imaging procedures. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients while delivering precise diagnostics through advanced imaging techniques.

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT scans in accordance with established protocols. They ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during imaging procedures. They monitor patients' conditions and observe safety practices throughout the imaging process. They maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and efficiently. They collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care plans. They follow protocols for radiation safety and adhere to regulatory standards. They participate in continuous education and training to keep up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies.

The CT Technologist holds a Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). They have a valid radiologic license or certification in the state of practice. They possess extensive knowledge of CT imaging techniques and procedures. They demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

This position requires availability for a 36-hour work schedule, specifically on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes patient care and safety. The CT Technologist will interact with patients and healthcare team members frequently, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
