Job Title: RN – Emergency Room (Level I Trauma)

Location: Camden, NJ

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details: 12hr Night Shift (36 hours/week) – Friday to Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends Only

Job Summary

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-acuity care in a Level I Trauma setting, managing critical and emergent cases. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment, triage, and delivering life-saving interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patients based on acuity
• Provide emergency care for trauma and critically ill patients
• Administer medications and emergency treatments
• Monitor patient status and respond to rapid changes
• Assist in trauma resuscitations and emergency procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care accurately in EMR

Patient Population & Conditions

• Adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and acute illnesses

Required Qualifications

• Active NJ RN License – Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) – Required
• TNCC Certification – Required
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Level I Trauma experience

Skills Required

• Strong triage and emergency response skills
• Trauma care and critical thinking
• Cardiac monitoring and rapid intervention
• Ability to perform in high-pressure environments

Scheduling Details

• Weekend-only schedule (Friday–Sunday nights)
