A modern luxury oceanfront resort in Marathon with stunning views from every room, seeks a skilled Banquet Chef to lead execution of banquets, events, weddings, and group functions in a luxury oceanfront setting. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and execute all banquet menus and plated/buffet events. Coordinate with the sales/catering team on event details and special requests. Supervise banquet kitchen staff and ensure timely, high-quality service. Manage portion control, presentation, and food safety for large groups. Maintain inventory and control costs for banquet operations. Collaborate with the main kitchen for seamless integration of operations.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Gastronomy or Hospitality, Tourism Management. 4+ years of banquet or catering chef experience in a luxury hotel/resort. Expertise in high-volume event cooking and menu planning. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with varying event sizes. ServSafe and relevant certifications preferred. Flexible availability, especially for evenings and weekends. Due to visa restrictions, at the moment we are only accepting candidates from Mexico and Canada. The limitation to Mexican and Canadian nationals is a legal requirement tied to the specifics of the TN visa, not a preference of the employer.
