Senior Account And Financial Analyst

Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL with 11 offices across the east coast, we are a diverse multi-practice commercial law firm with international affiliates known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Account and Financial Analyst to join a growing accounting team supporting sophisticated multi-state financial operations and reporting. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional who values analytical work operational excellence and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple offices and entities ensuring compliance with GAAP internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage general ledger activity journal entries complex account reconciliations and multi-state tax obligations including sales and use tax and personal property tax with accuracy and efficiency
• Support month-end and year-end close processes coordinate internal and external audit activities and evaluate internal controls while providing financial insights to leadership
• Analyze financial data track performance metrics and support budgeting forecasting and cash flow management initiatives to drive strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience preferably within a law firm environment with strong knowledge of general ledger accounting financial reporting budgeting and legal billing and trust accounting practices
• Strong organizational communication and analytical skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-state high-volume environment
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel financial modeling and legal accounting software (Aderant Expert preferred) with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
