Commercial Loan Assistant Our client, a well-established community bank, is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Assistant to support a growing commercial lending team. In this role, you'll partner closely with Commercial Lenders throughout the loan processfrom application to closing and ongoing portfolio maintenancehelping ensure a smooth experience for both borrowers and internal teams. What You'll Do Provide administrative support to Commercial Loan Officers throughout the lending process. Prepare loan documentation and gather required financial information. Order and track appraisals, title work, flood certifications, UCC searches, insurance, and other third-party items. Coordinate loan closings and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate. Review loan files for completeness and regulatory compliance. Board-approved loans and maintain loan files within the bank's core system. Monitor loan exceptions, collateral documentation, insurance renewals, and financial statement tracking. Assist with renewals, modifications, annual reviews, and portfolio maintenance. Communicate with customers, attorneys, title companies, and internal departments to ensure timely loan processing. Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Qualifications 2+ years of Commercial Loan Assistant or Commercial Lending support experience within a bank. Knowledge of commercial loan documentation, loan processing, and closing procedures. Experience with commercial real estate (CRE), C&I, and SBA loans is a plus. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking software systems.
