About the Job

The Analyst, International Scheduling plays a key role in developing and optimizing airline network and scheduling strategies that support profitability, operational efficiency, and customer value. This position combines strategic analysis, schedule development, and cross-functional collaboration to help shape the airline's international schedule. The role works closely with planning, operations, and commercial teams to evaluate opportunities, identify improvements, and support business objectives through data-driven insights. Core Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and optimize international scheduling strategies to support network performance, profitability, and operational feasibility
• Prepare scenario evaluations to support scheduling and network planning decisions
• Gather, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with network planning, operations, commercial, and other cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and scheduling priorities
• Participate in cross-departmental projects and planning activities that influence schedule design, capacity deployment, and business outcomes
• Evaluate scheduling performance and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision quality
• Support schedule publication activities and contribute to planning adjustments that align market demand with operational constraints
• Present findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to stakeholders and leadership to support informed decision-making

Note: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including approximately 50% of the time spent working onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in network planning, scheduling, strategy, analytics, logistics, aviation planning, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree required
• Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience working with large datasets
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence planning outcomes through data-driven recommendations
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem solving. Applies critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies for responsible AI use, data privacy and security.
• Experience in airline scheduling, network planning, fleet strategy, or capacity planning
• Experience using SQL for data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of business intelligence reporting and competitive intelligence methodologies
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience leading projects or strategic initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups

The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
