Registered Wound Nurse (RN)

Overview Healthcare Facility in the Syracuse, NY area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Nurse to join our clinical team. Responsibilities Oversee and monitor skin integrity and wound care services for patients Complete skin assessments for new admissions and identify treatment needs Document wound progress and clinical updates accurately in patient records Collaborate with providers and clinical staff during weekly wound rounds Follow infection prevention and control policies and procedures Provide education, guidance, and support to patients and families regarding wound care plans Maintain accurate reporting and complete monthly wound care documentation as required Ensure confidentiality of all patient and organizational information Support quality care initiatives and clinical standards throughout the organization Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Previous wound care experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Solid computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment We offer a supportive clinical environment, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated healthcare team focused on exceptional patient care. #LI-DNI #J-18808-Ljbffr
