Description: This position involves working as a CT/X-ray Technologist. The role requires performing both CT and general X-ray imaging. Daily responsibilities include handling portables, strokes, general CT, and angio CT. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is between 10-20 across both modalities. Candidates must follow the fingernail policy, which prohibits artificial nails in patient care departments. No weekend or call requirements, with shifts scheduled for Monday through Thursday only. The department consists of 2 scanner rooms, and there is no need to float to other areas. IV starts are performed by nurses in the Emergency Department. The work environment involves using equipment from Siemens and GE. Daily duties also include checking the code cart and quality control. Candidates should be familiar with EMR and PACS systems, and the department is transitioning from McKesson to another system. No radiologists are on-site during the shift. The position requires a driver's license for compliance with distance rules. Cancellation policies allow the hospital to cancel a limited number of shifts per assignment period. There is no requirement for holiday work, except possibly for Christmas. Dress code requires gray scrubs, which are not provided. Training will be conducted by the lead technician or overnight tech.
