Job Description

• Lead preconstruction efforts for complex healthcare projects, including renovations and ground-up facilities
• Develop conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates with a high level of accuracy
• Coordinate design-phase budgeting, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Partner closely with owners, architects, engineers, and internal operations teams
• Manage multiple preconstruction efforts simultaneously across campuses and facilities
• Support negotiated and repeat-client work, emphasising collaboration over hard bids
• Mentor project engineers and junior estimators as part of long-term team development

The Successful Applicant

• 8-10+ years of estimating/preconstruction management experience with a general contractor
• Strong background in healthcare construction (hospitals, medical office buildings, surgical centres, renovations in active environments)
• Proficiency with modern preconstruction tools and software (e.g., estimating platforms, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Procore)
• Understanding of LEAN Construction concepts is a plus
• Able to read drawings and specifications
• Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
