At Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), we are seeking a Linux Systems Developer who possesses a profound, under-the-hood understanding of Linux architecture. This position demands expert-level operational knowledge rather than peripheral familiarity. We require an engineer who views Linux as a core technical passion—demonstrated through advanced pursuits such as customizing system images, managing complex home server environments, and deeply exploring kernel operations. This is a rigorous, highly hands-on role for a systems expert who thrives at the intersection of bare-metal hardware, enterprise-scale virtualization, robust cybersecurity, and cloud architecture. You will diagnose and debug complex issues across the full stack of a running Linux OS, supporting critical, highly available infrastructures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Clearance & Location Requirements:All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.This is a fully on-site position, based out of our Fall River, MA location.
