Security Officer - PRN, As Needed

Job Description Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Assist in maintaining a quiet, safe environment at the Medical Center. Ensure that the area (post) he/she is assigned is secure. Investigate crime and traffic accidents. Provide assistance for patients, visitors and staff as requested. Supervise and maintain traffic flow at the loading dock. Schedule dock time for special events. Maintain log of all vehicles coming into and out of the loading dock on a daily basis. Provide escort of Administrative staff to a designated location safely and in a timely manner. Monitor/review health & fitness center camera system playback. Qualifications / Training Must be able to complete SLED firearms qualification prior to employment. Must pass the MRMC Psychological Evaluation prior to employment. Must complete a half-mile run prior to employment. Must maintain annual SLED firearms certification.
