Hours include days (8am - 5pm), possible evening clinic until 8:30pm, and Saturday morning (8am - noon) rotation. Flexibility to travel or work out of more than one clinical location is desired. Based on performance and business needs, Southdale Pediatrics offers opportunities to participate in Limited Scope X-Ray training program. Southdale Pediatrics will pay for your course materials and provide hands‑on training. Once certified, you’ll enjoy a wage increase and get to cross‑train in our x‑ray department. LPN Responsibilities: Comprehensive intake including: height, weight, and vitals Hearing and vision screens Deliver injections including vaccines, influenza, and PPD/TB testing Collect NP, throat, and nasal swabs Run the following waived kit tests: RSV, influenza and strep. Assisting physicians with procedures Nursing skills such as caths, neb treatments, and antibiotic injections Patient and family education Care coordination Documentation in the patient's electronic health record Cleaning and stocking clinic rooms. Eventual certification in limited scope x‑ray which will add to the variety of day‑to‑day tasks as you provide coverage in that department. LPN Qualifications & Skills: LPN license in the state of Minnesota Limited Scope X‑Ray certification is valued Experience with pediatric procedures is valued Experience with electronic medical records; charting and charging Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Provide excellent customer service while working efficiently with busy physician schedules Must work well with children and families with diverse backgrounds and medical complexities #J-18808-Ljbffr Southdale Pediatric Associates
