Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a real difference providing Speech-Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy services to a student in a home-based setting near Fulton, NY. Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings
- Proficiency with teletherapy tools and platforms, with confidence delivering virtual SLP services when needed
- Knowledgeable in best practices for both SLP and OT support for students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable providing care in a home setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and support, tailored to the individual needs of a student
- Provide or coordinate Occupational Therapy interventions as required
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitor progress, and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and related service providers to create and implement effective treatment plans
- Integrate technology for teletherapy sessions, ensuring engaging and high-quality service delivery
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and procedural standards for school-based therapy
