Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) NurseWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse with a focus on vascular procedures and cardiac open-heart surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and a strong background in surgical nursing.Scheduled DetailsMonday to FridayHours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMOrientationOrientation will be provided and is expected to be 12 hours of non-billable training. Candidates are encouraged to start mid-week.Weekend RequirementsWeekend duties will consist of call-only rotations.Holiday RequirementsThe candidate must be available for one of the winter holidays, only on a call basis.On-Call RequirementsThe nurse will be on-call for 6-8 days per month and must be located within a 30-minute drive to the designated hospital.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of CVOR experience with a focus on vascular proceduresExperience in scrub and circulating roles for open-heart surgeries is preferredLicensure and CertificationsCurrent nursing license in the state of IllinoisBLS certification is requiredCase ResponsibilitiesThe nurse will be involved in a variety of cases including:Cardiac Open Heart SurgeriesVascular ProceduresEndovascular ProceduresAdditional InformationThere are no floating requirements associated with this position, and no sleep room is available at the facility.Application ProcessIf you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please prepare your credentials for submission prior to the start date.
