A warehouse associate is responsible for safely filling orders, replenishing inventory, loading/unloading trucks and moving material in the warehouse. Job Responsibilities

SAFETY FIRST!

Move material throughout warehouse by safely operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts and overhead cranes). Retrieve material from inventory according to work instructions. Verify accuracy of material retrieved by measuring and comparing product information on tag to work order. Construct skids and use shipping supplies to properly wrap and prepare product for delivery using tape measures, banding equipment, and nail guns. Tag material, verify product against work order, and perform last piece visual inspection. Safely load and unload material from trucks using cranes, forklifts, and side loaders. Inspect inbound material using measuring tape measures and calipers. Record and report material discrepancies. Locate material into inventory racking system. Prepare orders for shipment via common carriers, UPS, and customer pick-up. Expedite orders and process received and shipped material in system. Print material certifications and shipping tickets. Continually inspect materials and report material defects. Perform additional duties as instructed by manager. Requirements & Qualifications ***This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position: requires operating heavy machinery*** High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and understand English to follow work instructions. History of working safely and productively. Forklift operation experience strongly preferred. Basic math skills required to convert decimals and fractions and to accurately use and read tape measures and calipers. Dependable, punctual, and works well with others. Able to pa ss background check, drug screen, physical, meet physical requirements of the position. Willingness to work required overtime.
