Traveling Site Superintendent - Mission Critical Data Center

The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for leading and executing field operations on complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects across the United States. This role serves as the senior on-site authority, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and to Enterprise Electrical’s quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proven field leader with strong technical expertise, exceptional crew management skills, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. This position requires extensive travel and the ability to mobilize quickly to support national projects. Field Leadership & Execution Lead day-to-day on-site operations for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical projects Supervise and coordinate field labor including apprentices, journeymen, foremen, and subcontractors Enforce production plans, manpower loading, and workflow sequencing Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Project Management, General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades Safety & Compliance Champion Enterprise Electrical's "Safety First, Safety Always" culture Conduct daily safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and site audits Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC requirements, and local authority codes Proactively identify and mitigate job site risks Quality & Schedule Control Interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, equipment staging, and subcontractor activities Monitor progress against schedule and proactively address field challenges Maintain daily reports, field logs, and production tracking using approved software platforms Travel & National Support Travel extensively to active job sites nationwide, including overnight and extended assignments Support startup, ramp-up, and critical project phases as assigned Adapt quickly to new sites, teams, and project conditions.
