Electro-Mechanical Assembler II | $25Hr | 1st Shift | Carlsbad, CA

Job Description

The Assembler is responsible for building electronic and electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies using mechanical components, wiring, and hand tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role follows work instructions and quality standards to ensure accurate and efficient production.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Overtime as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical products using hand and power tools.
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Support Kanban processes, audits, and inventory transactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 6S standards.
• Report quality or safety concerns and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Work across multiple production stations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with electronic/electro-mechanical assembly and wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift 25+ lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kanban systems and Lean/6S environments.
• Knowledge of quality processes and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

• Clean, modern manufacturing facility.
• Standing, assembly-line work using mechanical and electronic components.
• Safety-focused environment with provided PPE and employee lockers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
