Warehouse Operator – Grain Company: GROWMARK, Inc. Location: LakeSide Grain LLC, Chicago, IL Salary Range: $1.00-$100,000.00 Purpose and Summary Under the direction of the Grain Warehouse Superintendent, this position assists in daily operational duties at the facility. Essential Job Functions Assist with operations at the warehouse location. Follow maintenance schedule of facility and equipment. Assist with inventory and distribution of products. Maintain inventory quality and weigh and grade inventory, shipments, and receipts. Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping. Blend and turn warehouse products and materials. Assist both full-time and part-time operations personnel. Maintain the facility, equipment, and company image. Improve efficiency and reduce costs to help achieve goals. Work with the Grain Warehouse Superintendent on safety and compliance issues. Other Job Functions May be required to drive and run local errands as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as applicable. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in preventing and repairing concrete spalling preferred. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development. Ability to work extended hours during busy periods. Must be willing to obtain and maintain a forklift certificate and CDL. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Occasionally exposed to: Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.). Work conditions including dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards (requiring appropriate safety measures). May require work at varying heights. Move up to 70 pounds. Willingness to participate in required training regarding company policies and procedures and related requirements.
