Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Emergency Response in Lakewood, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond professionally to incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and adherence to site access procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
