CT Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both CT and X-ray modalities and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Chesterfield, VA

Facility Information

• 12-bed freestanding emergency room with a 7 vertical fast track area
• Average patient volume of 80 patients per day, with increased volumes during winter months
• Utilizes GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable x-ray equipment
• Documentation systems: Meditech, Sectra

Scheduling and Staffing

• No on-call responsibilities
• 36 hours scheduled, with rotations on weekends and holidays
• Staff may work independently, often managing both CT and X-ray duties

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging independently with a focus on patient care and safety
• Provide high-quality imaging for emergency medicine procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff, ensuring a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Current Virginia license or compact license at the time of application
• Certifications required: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT

Desired Skills

• Ability to manage both CT and X-ray modalities independently
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Experience with acute stroke and pediatric volume preferred
