GIS Specialist II, III or SR

GIS Specialist–Atlanta Operating HQ or Columbus Operating HQMust live near or have the ability to commute to the Atlanta Operating Headquarters at 755 Jefferson St NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 or Columbus Operating Headquarters at 3610 Gentian Blvd Columbus, GA 31909 for a minimum of 4 days per week. Current work arrangements are in-office Monday through Thursday and tele-work options for Friday, but this is subject to change at GPC management discretion.This position resides within the Geographic Solutions and Services organization and is responsible for the input, processing, and maintenance of Distribution data in accordance with departmental work procedures and consistent with Southern Company GIS Data strategy. The position is also responsible for supporting local and system wide Storm Restoration efforts which may include non-normal working hours and travel.
