Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to an average daily census of approximately 25 patients, shared across a small therapy team
• Conduct 8–12 patient visits per day across orthopaedic and geriatric populations
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in alignment with individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient progress and discharge planning
• Participate in facility orientation, including completion of required training modules
• Be prepared to serve on an emergency response or relief team in the event of a declared emergency, as directed by unit management

Required Qualifications

• Active Louisiana State Physical Therapy License or compact license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in specialty — new graduates will not be considered
• Specialization or strong experience in orthopaedics and geriatrics
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as reflected on driver's license) — local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience is a plus; first-time travelers will be considered
• Familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced inpatient or outpatient therapy environments
