Ninos II- Riverpoint location:Job Title: Shift LeadCompany: Nino’s Southern SidesPosition SummaryNino’s Southern Sides is seeking a motivated, dependable, and service-oriented Shift Lead to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. The Shift Lead is responsible for supporting team performance, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role serves as the acting leader on duty and works closely with management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise crew members during assigned shiftsEnsure exceptional customer service and hospitality standards are consistently maintainedMonitor food preparation, product quality, portioning, and presentation standardsAssist with opening and closing procedures including cash handling, deposits, inventory counts, and security proceduresTrain, coach, and support team members on operational procedures and company expectationsAssign daily tasks and ensure completion of cleaning, stocking, and prep responsibilitiesAddress guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficientlyMonitor labor, productivity, and workflow during peak service periodsEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulationsAssist with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and supply organizationCommunicate operational updates, staffing concerns, and performance feedback to managementSupport catering operations, promotions, and special events as neededMaintain a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects the culture of Nino’s Southern SidesQualificationsPrevious restaurant, hospitality, or leadership experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalismExperience with POS systems, cash handling, and customer service operations preferredAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 poundsFlexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidaysReliable transportation and strong attendance recordPreferred TraitsStrong work ethic and accountabilityAbility to lead by examplePositive attitude and team-first mindsetAttention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and make decisions under pressurePassion for hospitality and guest satisfactionWork EnvironmentShift Leads work in both front-of-house and back-of-house environments and may be exposed to kitchen equipment, hot surfaces, cleaning chemicals, and fast-paced operations.
