Job Opportunity: Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon

Our organization is looking for a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic surgeon to join our growing team as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology. This position is in collaboration with the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. The salary will be determined based on the candidate's training and experience.

Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology and should be qualified to apply for a medical license in California. Currently, our department consists of fifteen clinical faculty members and four audiologists, including four full-time specialists in head and neck oncologic surgery. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including radiation oncology, medical oncology, and rehabilitation, as part of the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in Orange County, California.

• Perform surgical procedures related to head and neck oncology, including thyroid/parathyroid surgeries, upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, TORS, advanced cutaneous malignancies, and salivary gland surgeries.
• Engage in microvascular surgery and sialendoscopy, although this training is preferred but not mandatory.
• Contribute to the department's mission by delivering exceptional patient care.
• Instruct and mentor residents and students.
• Participate in university and community service initiatives.
• Exhibit professional competency and engage in scholarly activities.

• Fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology.
• Board certification or eligibility in otolaryngology.
• Eligibility for a California medical license.
