Descripción del puesto:
Magnolia Gardens Nursery busca un gestor de propagación con experiencia. Este puesto será responsable de la gestión práctica de la propagación, incluyendo el programa de IPM, control climático, mantenimiento del inventario, cultivo de plantas, pedidos de suministros, supervisión y gestión de hasta 10 personas y garantizar el mantenimiento adecuado de todas las instalaciones de propagación. Este puesto dependerá del Cultivador Senior.
Se espera que el Gestor de Propagación desempeñe las siguientes funciones:
Trabajar estrechamente con el Cultivador Senior y el Planificador para llevar a cabo y supervisar los horarios de trabajo de propagación de acuerdo con el Plan de Demanda
Monitorizar, mejorar e informar métricas diarias de productividad, calidad y seguridad
Investigar e implementar nuevas técnicas de producción
Supervisa las mejores prácticas adecuadas de inventario para la instalación de propagación
Gestiona hasta 2 asistentes. Desarrolla y forma como parte del proceso de planificación sucesoria.
El candidato ideal poseerá las siguientes cualidades y capacidades:
Historial probado de gestión de la propagación en las categorías de plantas ornamentales, árboles y perennes
Alta capacidad organizativa y líder en el desarrollo de equipos
Capacidad para comunicarse de forma clara y eficaz
Entiende lo importante que es la dinámica del trabajo en equipo para el buen funcionamiento de un negocio
Responsable colaborativo de toma de decisiones
Autogestionado y muy enérgico
Abraza el cambio e impulsa la mejora continua
Requisitos del puesto:
Los candidatos DEBEN tener lo siguiente:
Al menos 5 años de experiencia en gestión de propagación ornamental o producción relacionada
Título en Horticultura o campo relacionado o mínimo de 10 años de experiencia en propagación
Se prefiere ser bilingüe, pero no es obligatorio.
