Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Georgia
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor therapy sessions to individual student needs
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify strengths and areas of need for occupational therapy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve student performance in school activities and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure therapy aligns with educational goals and accommodations
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student growth both in and out of the classroom
• Adapt techniques and interventions as needed to serve diverse learners
